Places to Capture Pokémon
You are not allowed to capture Pokémon in cities or towns because they are most likely to be someone else's Pokémon.
You may capture Pokémon in routes, forests, and in caves.
You cannot capture Pokémon that wouldn't belong in the route/cave. (Example: Don't catch a Pikachu in Digglett's Cave... Somewhere it wouldn't be at).
Capture Pokémon in the region capture areas.
Wild Pokémon
You may come in contact with wild Pokémon every 10 or so posts in a thread, but only in one thread.
You won't capture every Pokémon you come into contact with.
You won't capture the Pokémon within the first few tries of capturing it.
Legendary Pokémon
No capturing any legendary Pokémon. You are allowed to contact and battle them, but it is illegal in the Pokémon world to capture them. Ignoring the fact that you can capture them in the video games.
Shiny Pokémon
You cannot be allowed to have a shiny Pokémon until you have at least 20 Pokémon that you have captured.
You are only allowed 3 shiny Pokémon within your team on hand.
Do not expect the wild Pokémon you come in contact with to be a shiny Pokémon. The admin will decide if the wild Pokémon you've recently captured is a shiny or not.
Trading Pokémon
Trainers have to come to an agreement on which Pokémon they would like to trade with each other.
Do not force one trainer to trade a Pokémon they don't want to give up.
If there isn't an agreement then leave it at that and move on. Maybe you'll come across the Pokémon you wanted to trade for another time.
You cannot change the nickname of the Pokémon you have been given in trade. Unless that Pokémon does not have a nickname.
Be fair when trading.
